Heather Idell is a full-time writer, after a 20 year career in publishing, marketing, and communications. She was educated at the University of Pennsylvania, and also enjoyed a summer abroad at Oxford University studying playwriting, where she wrote a very bad one-act play. Though humor writing is her forte, Ms. Idell has recently co-authored a highly technical book, chronicling the life and career of William R. Jones and his pivotal role in vacuum furnace technology and the heat treating industry. The Golden Nugget: An Entrepreneur Speaks released October 2017. Heather lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her partner, John, her two children, Oakley and Jamie, and the famed Eastern Red Retriever, Riley.
